worin unterscheiden sich der 273er mit 180hp (2barrel) und 235hp (4barrel)? liegt der leistungsunterschied nur an folgenden komponenten:
-4fach vergasser#
-4fach ansaugspinne
-andere nockenwelle
oder wurden auch weiter modifikationen im vergelich zum 2v durchgeführt?

The LA family of engines with its thin wall casting technique was introduced in 1964 with the 273. The new casting was much lighter and considered to be well ahead of its time. The new LA block would be the foundation for many great high performance engines and is still in production today.
The first LA was the 273, with a two barrel carb, and 180 hp (gross). By 1965, a four-barrel carb and high performance cam were available to push that to 235 hp; and, in 1966, a limited edition 273 with a 700 cfm carb and .500" lift cam put out 275 hp (gross). This engine is known as the D/Dart 273 and was built specifically to allow the darts to compete in D-Stock drag racing. It is not known for sure if any of these 275hp motors were put into barracudas.
